Automated fire-protecting systems sprinkler are used today as the most common means for protection against fire. The sprinkler philosophy is based on the operation of the certain amount of water on the right place at the right time. Many usual systems are supplied by the water from the city water system, but reservoirs with water and pumps are put more and more in order to provide the suitable flow of water and pressure.
"Wet system" sprinkler pipes are constantly full of water under pressure
"Dry system" (is used where there is risk of frost. It is full of compressed air with a closed valve. When the sprinkler is in function, the air pressure is lost, the valve returned and the water comes out of the pipes.
"Pre-action system" is the combination of electric and mechanical system for putting out fire, the sprinkler pipes are filled with water right after the detection in order to escape damages.
Preparation and connecting the pipes in this sprinkler system are fast and simple because of the unique groove on the pipe endings and the supporting fitting.
